How gigi-lala is this… I was invited to The Hazelton, Toronto’s only 5-star hotel, to eat white chocolate popcorn and see an advanced screening of It’s Complicated. Not to be all braggy, but it was sick.
Top left is the screening room, click here for proper photos. Cel signals are blocked in there, smart eh.
I adore Steve Martin, he’s on my ‘Top 5 Funniest People List’. When I first saw “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” two summers ago I went around for weeks going OooookkkkkllllllhomaOklahomaOklahomaaaaaaaaa (link to 0:08 video). It annoyed everyone.
Steve killed it, so did Alec Baldwin (I <3 Jack) and you just can’t stop looking at Meryl, eh. It really is LOL funny and I predict a sequel, the ending just reeked of one. I’ll be seeing it.
There’s a Facebook Widgit to see what kind of date you are (I’m Easy Peasy), and here’s the IMDB page.
Then I felt I had to even it all out by posting this TwitPic.
At the start of the movie we learned some interesting stats from a survey of Canadian women, here they are:
– While the majority of Canadian women say that their relationships aren’t necessarily simple and straightforward, 12% admit their relationships are truly “complicated”
– While many more of us might admit to snooping around on an ex’s Facebook profile out of curiosity, only 26% of Canadian women admit to actually going back to an ex-partner
– 54% of women most want companionship from their partner; only 2% want more sex most. However, in Quebec or Atlantic Canada, apparently none of them want “more sex” as what they want most in a relationship (clearly very satisfied or very uninterested!)
– Women between 35 and 54 report having more complicated relationships than 18 to 34 year olds
